This year, after our journey to Greece via Italy and ferry from Bari http://forumeribatouring.com/viewtopic. ... &start=100 we decided to return via Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
It took a lot of research to find suitable campsites and the ones we chose are all very good except Turkey. Turkey is a lovely country but the campsites are not good. Another Eribafolk member spent 3 weeks in Asian Turkey and found the same problem often having to rough camp.

Amanda pursuaded to join in. lasted 90 minutes
Ancient Perperikon. (Alexander the Great)
Place 18) Camping Zora, Obzor, Black Sea.
Place 19) Camping Veliko Tarnova OOD
Rose Picking in Rose Valley Bulgaria
Old Town Veliko Tarnova. Lovely place
Romania
Campsites around Bucharest were not secure so we didn't stay.
Place 20) Camping Panorama, Rucar
Bran Castle. Dracula
Place 21) Camping Salisteanca, Saliste
Sibiu City. Lovely place.
Hungary
Place 22) Tania Riaad Camping, Kunszailis.
We didn't visit Budapest as we stayed there three years ago.
Place 23) Castrum Camping, Kesthely.
Place 24) Szigetkoz Camping, Novakpuszta.
City of Gyor. Fabulous place.
Czech Republic
Place 25) Kemp Oaza Ostrovacice.
Brno Autodrome, Ostrovacice.
City of Brno. Fabulous place.
We didn't visit Prague as we camped there four years ago.
Place 26) Camping Chvalsiny, Jihocesky Kraj.
Cesky Crumlov. A Fabulous town to explore.
Holasovice. Unesco World Heritage Village.
